"Waging War" is the 2nd half of An American Turning Point:  The Civil War in Virginia, is now open at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Wincheter, VA and continues until December 2, 2012. 

The Virginia Historical Society organized this extraordinary exhibition in partnerahip with the Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission and the National Endowment for the Humanities.  The display includes more than 70 objects and makes use of state-of-the-art technology to tell the stories of both Union and Confederate soldiers and the free and enslavedf men, women, and children who experienced the Civil War in Virginia.
