Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea followed by a humorous presentation, “The Nicety of Dining in the Late Eighteenth Century,” by Cathy Hellier, historian with the department of training and historical research at The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. After a tea that will include mini-sandwiches, desserts, and several varieties of hot tea, Cathy will use “The Dinner,” a satirical print published in 1794, as the basis for her illustrated and entertaining discussion about the right and very wrong ways to dine.
