"Women In Our Heritage" is the theme for the Shenandoah Valley Heritage Day at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester, VA.
Seventeen heritage/historical organizations fronm throughout the area will have booths and offer a wide range of services and information on genealogy and valley history.
This year's free lectures will be "Gold Star Mothers in VA", "The Silent, The Invisible & The Unimportant: Finding Female Ancestors" and "Women's Traditions and Culture". Tickets for each of these presentations will be distirbuted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The event will run from 10 to 5 and a snow date is scheduled for Saturday, January 26th.
